Terms of Service

Terms for using LilM, the AndWhatNot Studio conversational Discord bot known as LLilM.

Effective & updated: 10 September 2026Version 1.1

At a glance: LilM uses AI to reply in configured channels and may remember useful facts. Its replies and memories can be wrong and can be visible to other members.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms govern LilM, a Discord application operated by AndWhatNot Studio. By installing, authorizing, or using the application, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled; it is not a request for blanket consent to processing.

You must be at least 13 and meet Discord’s higher minimum age requirements where applicable. You must comply with Discord’s Terms, its Community Guidelines, and the rules of the relevant server. If acting for a server or organization, you must have authority to do so.

2. The service

LilM (named LLilM in Discord) is an AI conversational bot in configured Discord channels and their threads. It can respond to mentions and other messages according to the channel settings, use recent conversation as context, interpret attached images, consult stored knowledge, and retain selected AI-generated memories. In selected channels it can search approved roleplay wikis and save its generated replies. LilM does not keep a general local archive of raw chat history. Its stored outputs may summarize, quote, or infer information from conversations, including information about users.

3. AI replies, memories, and visibility

Replies and stored memories may contain mistakes, outdated information, or invented details. Review them before relying on them or sharing them. LilM is not a human, an official source, or a provider of professional advice. Do not use it for legal, medical, financial, employment, or other consequential decisions about people.

Conversation context can include messages from people who did not directly address the bot. Stored memories may be recalled in later conversations with other members; they are not a private notebook for your account. Replies are visible wherever the bot posts them. Avoid sharing confidential or sensitive information.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in your messages. You permit LilM to process relevant messages, images, and context, generate and display replies, and store selected memories and generated replies where configured, only for the disclosed conversational service and its support.

Only provide content you are entitled to share for these purposes. Server administrators must notify channel participants that messages may become context for other people’s requests, even without a direct mention of LilM.

5. Acceptable use

6. Server administration

Server administrators are responsible for informing members about the application, selecting appropriate channels and roles, restricting access to its outputs, and handling server moderation and complaints. Configure access only where you have authority and a valid basis for the processing. Installing a bot does not replace any notice or consent required by law.

7. Availability and third-party services

Features depend on Discord, hosting, and the providers described in the Privacy Policy. Outages, rate limits, source deletions, permission changes, and maintenance may interrupt operation. We may change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue features for reliability, safety, or legal reasons. No particular result or uninterrupted availability is guaranteed.

8. Ownership and service rights

You retain your rights in your content. AndWhatNot Studio and its licensors retain rights in LilM’s software, branding, and original service materials. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners. This application is independently operated and is not endorsed by Discord or other referenced platforms.

9. Disclaimers and legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. Review outputs and publication or moderation decisions before relying on them.

To the extent permitted by law, AndWhatNot Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including lost data, revenue, or opportunities. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or limits consumer or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Stopping use and suspension

You may stop using the application and ask a server administrator to restrict or remove it. We may suspend access where necessary to address abuse, a security risk, legal obligations, or a breach of these Terms. Removal does not automatically erase earlier outputs, published material, or retained records; see the Privacy Policy for deletion requests.

11. Changes, support, and complaints

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The date above identifies this version. We will communicate material changes through an appropriate service channel where practical and obtain additional agreement where required by law. For support, complaints, privacy requests, or reports of misuse, contact admin@andwhatnotstudio.com.
