These terms govern access to and use of Summerizer, a Discord application operated by AndWhatNot Studio.

Plain-language summary: use Summerizer lawfully, treat AI-generated summaries as fallible accounts of a Discord discussion, and do not attempt to abuse the service or its purchasing system. The complete terms below control.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By installing, authorizing, purchasing through, or interacting with Summerizer, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use Summerizer on behalf of a Discord server or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
You must meet Discord’s minimum age requirements and all other requirements applicable to your account and location. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Summerizer.
2. The service
Summerizer reviews messages in specifically configured Discord channels and time windows to produce summaries, event cards, and—where enabled—more detailed private discussion reports. Server administrators control where the application is installed and which supported channels are configured.
The service may include free features, administrator-issued test credits, and paid features made available through Discord’s native checkout. Features may vary by server, account, test status, permissions, and availability.
3. AI-generated material
Summerizer uses automated systems, including third-party artificial-intelligence services, to interpret and summarize Discord discussions. Outputs may omit context, misunderstand a speaker, merge similar names, or describe a disputed statement imperfectly. They are informational accounts of what was discussed—not verified fact, professional advice, an official record, or a substitute for reading the source discussion.
You are responsible for reviewing an output before relying on, publishing, or acting on it. Do not use Summerizer to make legal, employment, financial, medical, safety-critical, or similarly consequential decisions about a person.
4. Your content and permissions
You retain any rights you hold in content submitted through Discord. You grant Summerizer a limited, non-exclusive license to access, copy, process, transform, store, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the requested service.
You must not configure or use Summerizer where you lack authority to permit this processing. Server administrators are responsible for informing their communities that configured channel content may be processed by Summerizer and for using appropriate channel permissions.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Summerizer to:
break any law, Discord rule, or third-party right;
harass, threaten, defame, discriminate against, or facilitate harm to another person;
process private or sensitive material without appropriate authority and notice;
probe, bypass, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
manipulate purchases, entitlements, credits, reports, rate limits, or access controls;
submit malicious instructions or content intended to interfere with automated processing; or
misrepresent AI output as independently verified fact or as an official statement from AndWhatNot Studio.
6. Credits and Discord purchases
Where paid reports are enabled, Discord may offer consumable credit packs. Discord processes the payment and issues an entitlement; Summerizer validates that entitlement, grants the stated number of application credits once, and marks the consumable entitlement fulfilled. Prices, taxes, supported payment methods, receipts, and checkout availability are controlled by Discord.
Credits are limited licenses to unlock eligible Summerizer features. They are not money, property, or cryptocurrency; have no cash value; and cannot be transferred, resold, or redeemed for cash.
One report unlock normally costs the number of credits displayed before confirmation. A generated report may be cached and reused; each user still purchases their own private access unless stated otherwise.
A credit is reserved when generation begins and captured only after a valid report is stored. If generation fails before delivery, the reservation is ordinarily released automatically.
Administrator-issued or test-mode credits are non-cash, may be limited to testing, and are not refundable.
Refunds and chargebacks for Discord purchases are handled through Discord’s supported process. If an entitlement is revoked or refunded, associated unused credits may be removed. If credits have already been spent or reserved, access or further spending may be paused while the account is reviewed.
Credits do not expire under the current service design, but this may change with advance notice where reasonably possible. Any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law remain unaffected.
7. Report access and delivery
Reports are delivered privately through supported Discord interactions. You must retain access to the relevant Discord server and source channel. Buying a report does not grant access to a channel or content you otherwise cannot view.
Do not redistribute a private report in a way that violates another person’s rights, server rules, Discord rules, or applicable law. Loss of permissions, source deletion, a correction, abuse prevention, or a legal requirement may make a cached report unavailable.
8. Availability and changes to the service
We may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, reliability, legal compliance, or service quality. We do not guarantee that every message, historical window, report, integration, or purchase option will remain available. Maintenance, Discord outages, third-party failures, and rate limits may interrupt the service.
9. Ownership
Summerizer’s software, branding, interface, and original service materials are owned by AndWhatNot Studio or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Summerizer or third-party content. Discord and other referenced services retain their respective trademarks and rights. Summerizer is not endorsed by Discord unless Discord expressly says otherwise.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Summerizer is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AndWhatNot Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, data, reputation, or opportunities; or harm arising from reliance on AI-generated material. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access for abuse, non-payment, chargebacks, security risk, legal requirements, violation of these Terms, or conduct that threatens Summerizer, Discord users, or third parties. You may stop using the service at any time and may ask a server administrator to remove the application.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, payment records, disclaimers, and limitations—will remain effective.
12. Changes, questions, and complaints
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date and version at the top identify the current terms. Material changes will be communicated through a reasonable service channel where practical. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.
