Terms for submitting, approving, processing, and publishing clips through Clipripper.
Effective & updated: 10 September 2026Version 1.0
At a glance: approved clips can be posted publicly to YouTube and TikTok. You must have the necessary rights and permissions for that use.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms govern Clipripper, a Discord application operated by AndWhatNot Studio. By installing, authorizing, or using the application, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled; it is not a request for blanket consent to processing.
You must be at least 13 and meet Discord’s higher minimum age requirements where applicable. You must comply with Discord’s Terms, its Community Guidelines, and the rules of the relevant server. If acting for a server or organization, you must have authority to do so.
2. The service
Clipripper (named ClipRipper in Discord) watches a configured channel for supported Twitch and Kick clip links, collects reactions, and queues clips after approval by an authorized role. It downloads and reformats accepted clips, publishes through Buffer to configured YouTube and TikTok accounts, tracks publication results and performance, and can create weekly compilations.
3. Approval and public publication
Submitting a clip for this workflow means proposing it for publication beyond Discord. Approval can trigger automatic processing and posting, including immediate processing by an authorized bypass role. Likes alone do not authorize publication. The submitter’s Discord display name may appear in the published caption.
Only submit clips you own or have permission to download, edit, republish, and include in compilations, including any music, voices, likenesses, and other third-party material. A publicly accessible clip is not automatically licensed for reuse. Do not use the service to bypass source-platform restrictions. Approval does not verify copyright or other permissions.
4. Summerizer rewards
The current integration can grant two Summerizer credits for an accepted, approved clip submission. Reward eligibility is checked by the service and duplicate grants are prevented. Credits can be issued on approval before publication succeeds; they are not a guarantee of publication.
Rewards are non-cash application credits, not wages or payment for content rights. Summerizer credits and their use are governed by Summerizer’s Terms and Privacy Policy. Do not manipulate approvals, submit duplicates to obtain rewards, or misrepresent ownership.
5. Corrections and takedown requests
For a queue cancellation, privacy concern, or rights complaint, promptly contact admin@andwhatnotstudio.com with the source clip and any published links. Deleting the original Discord message or removing a reaction does not automatically cancel an accepted job or remove public posts. We can assess removal from systems and accounts we control; third-party copies and reposts may require requests to their owners or platforms.
6. Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in submitted content. To operate the requested publishing workflow, you grant AndWhatNot Studio a non-exclusive license to download, store, copy, crop, resize, transcode, caption, combine into compilations, and publish authorized clips through the configured accounts, and to pass the material to providers needed for those actions.
This license is limited to operating and supporting the clip workflow and existing publications. It does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated reuse. You must have authority to grant these permissions; another person’s rights remain unaffected.
7. Acceptable use
Use the application only for lawful, authorized purposes. Respect other people’s privacy, copyright, and other rights.
Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, discriminate against, or expose private information about another person.
Do not submit material you are not entitled to process or share, including sensitive personal information unrelated to the requested feature.
Do not bypass permissions, manipulate approvals or service records, exploit vulnerabilities, overwhelm the service, or interfere with other users.
Do not provide passwords, account tokens, or other secrets in messages or submissions.
8. Server administration
Server administrators are responsible for informing members about the application, selecting appropriate channels and roles, restricting access to its outputs, and handling server moderation and complaints. Configure access only where you have authority and a valid basis for the processing. Installing a bot does not replace any notice or consent required by law.
9. Availability and third-party services
Features depend on Discord, hosting, and the providers described in the Privacy Policy. Outages, rate limits, source deletions, permission changes, and maintenance may interrupt operation. We may change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue features for reliability, safety, or legal reasons. No particular result or uninterrupted availability is guaranteed.
10. Ownership and service rights
You retain your rights in your content. AndWhatNot Studio and its licensors retain rights in Clipripper’s software, branding, and original service materials. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners. This application is independently operated and is not endorsed by Discord or other referenced platforms.
11. Disclaimers and legal rights
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. Review outputs and publication or moderation decisions before relying on them.
To the extent permitted by law, AndWhatNot Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including lost data, revenue, or opportunities. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or limits consumer or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12. Stopping use and suspension
You may stop using the application and ask a server administrator to restrict or remove it. We may suspend access where necessary to address abuse, a security risk, legal obligations, or a breach of these Terms. Removal does not automatically erase earlier outputs, published material, or retained records; see the Privacy Policy for deletion requests.
13. Changes, support, and complaints
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The date above identifies this version. We will communicate material changes through an appropriate service channel where practical and obtain additional agreement where required by law. For support, complaints, privacy requests, or reports of misuse, contact admin@andwhatnotstudio.com.
